School Overview
Peking University is widely recognized as the “cradle of journalism and journalism education in China.” In 1918, the Peking University Journalism Research Society, chaired by Cai Yuanpei, was established, marking the beginning of China’s earliest journalism education and the birth of journalism as an academic discipline in the country.
