Prof. Chen has published over 30 articles on topics about international relations and international communication, media and China’s foreign policy. He has completed research projects like Transnational Communication and International Relations, International Communication and China’s Foreign relations, International Communication and China’s Soft Power (all funded by China’s National Social Sciences Foundation), among others.

Awards：Excellent Teacher of Peking University: 2006, 2014.
