Achievements and Honors:
Dr. Li Tian is the author of six monographs and over 80 academic papers, in addition to more than 10 theoretical essays and investigative reports published in prominent media outlets such as People’s Daily and Guangming Daily. She has led over 60 research projects, funded by national and provincial/ministerial agencies, as well as commissioned by enterprises and public institutions. Dr. Tian has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the First Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research in Higher Education Institutions from Ministry of Education, the Second Prize for National Teaching Cases in Professional Master’s Programs in Journalism and Communication, and the "Advanced Individual" award for her organizational contributions at the Third World Internet Conference. Other accolades include the “Young Talent of Promise” award from the Global Times Youth Scholar Development Program, the Peking University Teaching Excellence Award, the Gold Award for Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Science Research, and honors such as Outstanding Communist Party Member and Outstanding Class Advisor.She has also received the Kerry Kuok Foundation Award for Outstanding Counselor (Teaching Fund), the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Excellent Teacher Award, and the Bank of Beijing Teaching Award Fund.
In addition to her academic contributions, Dr. Tian holds several distinguished roles, including serving as a dual-appointed expert at Zhongguancun Laboratory and an external expert at the China Electronics Cyberspace Research Institute. She is also a member of the New Media Committee of the All-China Journalists Association, a specially invited research fellow at the Cross-Straits Relations Research Center, and an expert in the Expert Advisory Group on Cybersecurity and Informatization of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee. Furthermore, she is an expert in the Corporate Culture Expert Group of China National Petroleum Corporation, and a core faculty member for cyberspace administration education and training programs under the Cyberspace Administration of China.
