Important Notice on the Admission of 2026 Recommended Postgraduate Students (Exempt from Entrance Examination) (Mainland China Students Only)

For the 2026 admission cycle, the School of Journalism and Communication plans to admit the following categories of recommended postgraduate students (exempt from the entrance examination):

· Direct-entry Ph.D. students (Bachelor–Ph.D. track);

· Professional Master’s students in Journalism and Communication (including the Health Communication Program);

· Professional Master’s students in International Journalism and Communication.

The Health Communication Program welcomes graduating undergraduate students with medical or interdisciplinary backgrounds. When completing the online application, applicants must indicate “Health Communication” in the remarks section.

Applicants applying for special-track programs must clearly indicate the specific program in the remarks section of the online application.

Deadline for submission of application materials and completion of online registration: 12:00 noon, September 10, 2025 (all materials must be received by this time).

The preliminary examination for recommended exemption applicants is tentatively scheduled for September 20, 2025. The exact date and arrangements will be specified in the official examination notice.
